Q: Bumps In Nipple Area

My wife noticed this morning bumps in the nipple area. These bumps look almost like white heads. I have similar bumps in the same area, but hers are much bigger & pronounced. Can someone offer anyh info?

I am also including my last message:

my wife, age 38, has been having a variety of symptoms: constant headaches, cramping, complete loss of sexual appetite & a tingling sensation in both breasts she describes as a ice cold burning that goes to her lungs & sometimes back. This "burning" feeling is not so much painful as it is mainly just very uncomfortable. She thinks it is a hormonal inbalance, & I don't have a clue?

The bumps could be "montgomery's glands", which usually show up during pregnancy, but technically they are just caused by hormones, tehy can show up during your period, during ovualtion, or could be permanent in some cases. They should be nothing to worry about. But it does seem like this could be signs of pre-menopause/menopause.
