Q: I'm Weak

I need help!! I fall into deep depressions over tiny things and I don't want to be this weak person anymore. I cry for days at a time.. Over little relationship problems.. Really things that aren't even relevant, and I know they are not.. But, still I am always so hurt and so sensitive. Is this depression? Im generally okay.. When i'm out and about.. But, when I have alone time to think I am crying to the point that I am ill. What's wrong with me?

It could be depression. Or it could be borderline personality disorder. Or it could be something else or a combination of things. It really depends. You should see someone about this though. You cannot let this control your life. You should be able to enjoy your life without being overly sensitive and crying so often.

And you're not weak. If fact, you're very strong for asking for help and trying to solve this problem.

I bet you are a lot stronger than you think you are. I have always struggled with my thoughts and felt weak but now that I have learned to use the tea form to counter my thoughts in my cbt group I am feeling so much better. I have gone from being a worrier to becoming a warrior where nothing gets me bent out of shape and I have learned that I can deal with whatever is thrown my way and you can too. You should try and join a cbt group and learn how to counter your thoughts. The tea form exercise is the exercise that has helped me the most but I do all the ones in the book called been there, done that? Do this! By sam obitz that we are used in our group. It's a simple book with lots of common sense. I recently finished my group and can't believe how much it has changed me so far and hopefully for forever. Good luck to you.

othogirl, I get the same way. Little things get me mad, and then later on I think i'm wrong and then fall in to depression. Its the little things in life ya know? Its okay tho. You just need to talk to whoever it is who's making sad and pissed.

maybe try getting a friend your close to and talk with them and let all your feelings out in the open it might just be something that has happened thats bothering you deep inside that you just need to get out..Or maybe try a journal ..Keep your mind busy and do things that your interested in..Because everyone at one point or another ..Think about things they dont want to ..When they are alone and bored..I dont think you have a disorder or anything..Because it seems perfectly normal to be that way..

Where the hell are these "weak" girls coming from that want to leave their current relationships? Their bfs someone mistreat them, and I may not be very much, but I know I could take care of someone and make them feel happy, but i'm not getting that same thing back. It's potential that will never be released. I'm cynical though.
