Q: What will dentist do during wisdom teeth procedure?
asked by: DoctorQuestion on September 11th, 2006
I'm getting my wisdom tooth pulled because the tooth infront of it was impacted (which they fixed with braces) but their gonna take out the wisdom behind that.

I'm a little bit worried and i'm not sure what they are acually gonna do.

I'm sorry that I cannot help you. This is a question for dentist, and I am a general practitioner and specialize in family medicine. Feel free to call your dentist or orthodontist, explain your wish to understand the procedure and insist that a nurse or the dentist describe what they will do. It does not help to be worried before going in for work, and it's their job to explain medical procedures to you! Don't be afraid, get educated!
