Q: Why Was Beckster's Topic Locked?

I'm not trying to stir up trouble but i'm not sure why beckster's topic was locked. If it's because of the rather 'saucy' joke pic she posted then surely she could just have been asked to remove the offending pic? She was asking some important questions about her life right now and I think it's unfair that she won't benefit from people's imput.

Sorry if i've got the wrong end of the stick.

I was just wondering the same thing.
Why wouldn't the picture just be removed?

Argh.. How pathetic.

This will inevitably be locked, too.

I would think since this is a 'pregnancy' forum that we are all mature enough to see a penis....As I think everyone posting here has seen one. And if it *was* too offensive, then why wasn't it just removed instead of being locked...Like the others have said.

I didn't realise it would cause offense. I could of just been told to remove it and of course I would of. Locking the post isn't going to do anything... People are still going to see the photo :?:
mods don't even make sense these days. It would of made more sense to delete the post or just edit it to remove the photo. Its a bit bad when I have to tell a mod how to do her job.

Anyway what do you think I should do as a regards to the midwifery course?

If I were you, I would do the midwifery course. It's something you want and you'll be so happy you did once you're through. I was finishing my nursing degree when I had a miscarriage last year. I admit it was very hard because one of my courses was maternal and child nursing. I felt like crying so many times during class and it was hard to study the material. I'm so glad I did it though and I know it was worth it. It might be hard at times but you can do it!

Beck, .I really think you should do it.
It's your dream, &.I know you want it super bad.
Don't let negative things get in the way.
Think of it as learning &moving on in .Angel's memory.
As a midwife, you'll be able to be there for women
who may go through the same/similiar situations you did.

You really should go for it.

The locking of the post was my faught. I take full blame for it. I was planning on deleting the picture and letting you know why, but as soon as this happened my sons father came rushing down to let me know that my son was throwing up and sick again. So the only thing that I could do was lock it at the moment so that admin would see that we where not over looking it. Sorry I took so long to get back to it, but im fixing it now. Sorry for the inconvience. I could have asked for you to be banned automatically. You all know what the rules are..

That would be really mean to ban me for one photo when some people cause so much trouble and don't get banned. These are the ones who repeatedly break the rules and are still on the forum.

Maybe you'd be doing me a favour anyway

At the top of the forum. It's called a "sticky" it's got a "splat" with an exclamation point inside of it. Where all of the topics are it's like the verrry 1st one at the top.
