 help, my son is 16 months old and he loves to grind his teeth together. He bites down on them so hard he makes a noise. This is not when he is sleeping. How can I get him to stop doing this...I dont want him to chip a tooth especially when they are all just coming in. I think that he is doing it because I have told him not too. Is this common or is my son the only one?

This may or may not help but my brother did the same thing when he was small. My mother made an oral contraption and told him he'd have to wear it if he didn't stop. May not be cool anymore to do this, but sometimes fear factor works!
