Q: Hep C Type 1-A Treatments: should I stop or continue?

i am at the begning of level two of my hep c type 1-A. i have started the rebetol and pegintron. i had to stop treatment. the doctor says i have to start over for one year,even though my enzimes are ok right now. i am woundering how serious is to do my treatment now or wait. i guess they want ahead start on it.

I'll need to know why you had to stop the treatment...was it because of the side effects or because of a lack of response to the therapy? Treatment for hepatitis C type-1 lasts 48 weeks. If there are no therapeutic responses after 12 weeks of treatment (the virus is still detectible), the therapy can be stopped.
