Prolonged use of lovenox i'm sure would produce blood that is way too thin. Coumadin i'm sure is cheaper and perhaps easier to regulate the dosage so that your blood is neither too thin or too thick.

I don't understand your last remark - what do you mean "when the diagnosis includes a fib in the geriatric population?"
