I've had this lower dull backpain for over
5 years now and its starting to really get
to me. If I walk too much I get pins and
needles down both legs to the knees and
have to tuck in both knees when I go to
bed too. My doc x rayed and nothing was
found so she sent me to physio which she
couldn't explain my symptoms or anything
and eventually I left.
Some days its really bad and some days it
doesn't hurt at all. I'm an active person
and did kung fu for years then I suddenly
stopped. Thats when the problem occured
roughly. It feels that the more active I
get the more it goes away.
Any ideas please?
Many thanks

U Need a Mri Scan Posted: 09-18-06 03:42am
Mri ok,it the only way,get it sorted,and
if its a disc which I suspect then a
surgeon must remove.
Been there ok,it will then improve.

What limitations would I have if they
remove the disc?
I do alot of sports and I don't want it to
limit my activity so to speak.
From when I was getting my spine massaged
by physio she said I had scare tissue
build up there but I only thought you can
get scar tissue if you've had an operation
of some sort. Another thing is that when
she massaged by the l4 and l5 (i think)
she pressed next to the spine like the
soft tissue bit on both sides of the spine
and the relief was awesome.
What dou you think?

Very interesting book you have mate. I
too need an acl recon and even though I
have had this sciatica for many years I
cannot rid myself from the dull pain
aswell as the pins and needles down the
leg.
It deffinately feels muscle related as I
sit down to repair mobile phones but I
tend to sit on a leg as I sit and swap now
and again. I also tend to watch tv
leaning at an angle too. This I think is
not helping me at all and I need to
address these issues. I'm only 29 and I
don't want to plagued with this forever.
I just wish you was from the uk as I live
far away from the ones in the uk.
Many thanks for your help and I hope I can
progress.
