I have pock marks from acne I had years ago and I still have spots under my skin on my cheeks. Can anyone recommend anything to make it look better?Iv tried dermabrasion at home but didnt really help.
The dermabrasion kits for "at home use" are nothing like the microdermabrasion that we do in the office.
I would recommend you go to a dermatologist and see what they think about getting 4 to 5 microdermabrasion treatments. This will dramatically reduce the overall appearance of your skin as well as remove your pock marks.
I have pock marks too from acne that I had for about three years. My dermatologist perscribed acutane to clear up the acne, but I was left with pock marks all over my face. She told me to wait about six months after the treatment and begin using tazorac cream...It is an extremely potent benzoyl peroxide cream that you use in small amounts on problem areas. It is extremely drying, so it must be used moderately. I have seen significant improvment in my skin, especially after the first two months. Hope this helps!
