been around many ads myself, but have missed out citalopram. A friend of my mother has given it rave reviews however, and interestingly enough, she finds that she can stop it (with depression ensuing of unfortunately) and start it again without a problem.

Now why is this interesting to me? Well, many people find that when you stop taking an ssri (especially paroxetine), you cannot start it again and expect it to work.

Mind you, I was on and of sertraline 3 times and I got a response (not the perfect one and it was not my drug of choice) on these 3 seperate occasions.

So good luck with that.

And if it does not work, do not despair, - there are plenty of drugs out there, despite the fact that uk doctors don't always seem to enlightened  .
