I've had chronic backpain for 5 yrs &
got a recent catscan as per below. Has
anyone had anything similar, & cam I
expect the pain to cease 1 day?

the lumbar spine has been imaged from the
mid l3 to s2 level.
The l3/4 disc and facet joints are normal
in appearance.
There is minimal diffuse annular bulging
of the l4/5 disc without focal protrusion,
facet joints normal. A small bone island
is noted in the righ superior facet of
l5.
There is a tiny central posterior
protrusion of the l5/s1 disc which was on
the previous examination of 26.9.01.
Minor facet joint arthropathy pre

interval resolution of the central
posterior protrusion of the l4/5 disc
2001.
Persistent small central posterior
protrusion of the l5/s1 disc with mino
impression upon the anterior thecal sac.
