Pull Out Method
Yes, you can become pregnant by using the pull out method!! Some pre cum comes out and will/can contain sperm.

Good luck!

Precum, the clear fluid that precedes ejaculation, is actually even higher in sperm content than ejaculate - the precum essentially is the semen, and comes out mixed with other things when you ejaculate - and yes, there is more than enough sperm in a drop of precum to fertilize an egg.

Yes I agree ^^

yes that's right only have sex if you want children.

ha! Sorry trishabunny that isn't the case for almost everyone on the forum. And please, do not tell other people to have sex or not. It's everyones own personal choice.

dont start shooting off at the mouth and tellling me what to do
yes I agree it is everyone own personal choice but whenever people start
making posts about how scared they are because they had sex and now they are scared that they have to raise a baby just angers me right off
they felt so mature whenever they made the choice about having sex
but whenever it comes to taking responsibility for what they have created
they are not so mature after all now are they?

In my opinion, and im not trying to offend anyone by this, but if the question about whether or not the pulling out method is effective is being asked, probably you do not know enough about sex to be having it. There are alot of consequences and you should have a plan of action, or else, get yourself on a good b/c and buy some condoms. Good luck to you. :)

You are very likely to become pregnant using the pull-out method. Don't use it, period. Get some condoms, they're much, much more effective. My mother became pregnant in college because of this method, and was forced by her mother to abort. Don't put yourself in a situation like that.

See, this is why there needs to be better public education about birth control methods! Pull-out just shouldn't be mentioned... Except as something not to do.

the question at hand was "can a girl get pregnant from the pull-out method". The answer is not "don't have sex".

Well if we’re gonna get into opinions rather than medical advice then here’s my opinion:

your input has no value. No value whatsoever. You speak of maturity, but how much maturity do .Y.O.U really have if you can’t be realistic enough to expect adolescents and young adults to have sex? It is and always will be a reality, and you need to grow up. People don’t initiate sex because they think it is a ‘mature’ thing to do. They do it because sex is an integral part of life.

If today’s young men and women don’t fully understand about contraception and birth control it is largely because their parents haven’t been open enough about it and because the education system has failed them. Schools should be teaching this stuff much more thoroughly and honestly. There should be no prudishness. And you, my dear, are a prude. If you were in charge of the sex education system I can assure you there would be teenage pregnancies here there and everywhere.

Don’t have sex if you’re not willing to accept the responsibility of parenthood? Nonsense. Don’t cross the road unless you’re prepared, potentially, to die in a hideous car accident? Nonsense.

All you can do is take every possible precaution to prevent pregnancy, but abstinence is not a form of contraception, and believe me, it’s not gonna catch on, sweetheart. Wake up and smell the body fluids!

To answer the question, yes it is possible to fall pregnant from the pull-out method, because precum contains sperm. Use a condom before any contact between genitals. If you are in a long term relationship, you may want to look into birth control pills because when used correctly they have a lower failure rate than condoms.

if you have'nt noticed I did anwser the question. I just think that its
really conceided and selfish for people to go and have sex without even
taking into consideration about how they can ruin someone else's life
why go and ruin a childs life if you can prevent it from happening in the first place?

Exactly. Absolutely right. Nobody wants to find themself in that position. Which is what contraception is there for. But you are saying don't use it, instead just abstain from sex altogether. Is this what we should teach the youth of today, then, you think?

the only reason why I said dont have sex is because obviouly his girlfriends is not taking or using contraceptives to prevent pregnancy from happening. Therefore the only way to prevent preganncy from happening is plain and simple dont have sex

Thank you to all those who answered the question at hand. I have not actually used this method, I always thought this to be the case however, and a little reassurance in these kinds of things never hurt anyone.

This is supposed to be a forum where people can get advice and a helping hand on these matters, and all of a sudden, people are judging. Life isn't easy, and no body is perfect.

I am 27 yrs old and don't need to be told not to have sex or that I am being immature about the subject. I always practise safe sex and happen to enjoy it.
