I'm no an antibiotic for my acne & i've been on bc for almost 2 months. I've been taking the antibiotic for about 2 weeks now. Ever since beginning the antibiotic my boyfriend has always pulled out of me since it's supposed to decrease the effectiveness of birth control. I was wondering if what we're doing is enough.

Before I began birth control he had always pulled out of me and we never had any problems. I know there is always a chance even with birth control though.

The pull-out method is not a form of birth control because of the pre-cum.
Antibiotics will lessen the effects of the birth control pills.
Whenever you get a new prescription, they should give you a hand-out with information on it or ask for one or just look up the info on the internet, I always do because I have a lot of medical situations and I realize that some meds should not be mixed with others.
Good luck!
