In an acute excerbation of copd, would 60mg of prednisone be too much?

It depends on the severity of the bronchial obstruction but generally, in acute broncho-obstructive conditions, high doses of corticosteroids are often used.

i have been on predisone for almost 7 yrs now... my lung dr wants to take me off it. what are the side affects of that.if there are any.
