Q: Redness Above My Teeth

Lately i've noticed a patch of stinging red tissue above 3 of my teeth. It surprised and really scared me because i'm only 18 and it's not like I don't brush or maintain my teeth. I'm extra worried because my family doesn't have any dental coverage and i'm not sure if someone would look at me if I went to a walk-in clinic. I'm terrified of losing my teeth, especially since every time I brush the three teeth that it's covered, it bleeds pretty extensively. I know my grandpa had a history of gum disease but i'm not sure if I want to admit to myself that I might have it.

I would really appreciate some feedback of any sort,
thanks.

your problem is very easy.I recommend you to visit a dentist have a oral prophylaxis(it should be done every 6 months). The swollen gums is caused by plaque build up underneath your gums it should be remove as soon as possible so that your gums will not be irritated due to plaque and bacteria that causes the bleeding and reddness of your gums.Once the plaque are removed the inflammation will disappear. You should now maintain good oral hygiene by flossing.Proper toothbrushing, mouthwash.Visit your dentist regularly and eat healthy foods.I recommend to take vitamin c.

^ that could be the case....

Also it may be that you are allergic to the material used in fillings. Do u have any fillings near the three teeth that are red? Some people take a bad re-action to the material used, in the uk those alergic to normal fillings are given white fillings for free because it is a medical condition, im not sure if its the same where u are from...Anyway good luck.
