Q: Is It Normal?

Last night I was lying in bed and I noticed I had several braxton hicks contractions within one hour, which is a lot more than i've previously experienced.. And since then i've had a dull pain across my lower abdomen and back. I know backache is very common during pregnancy, but my bump isn't very big so I haven't really had much trouble with back pain so far, unless I do a lot of walking.

My baby is kicking a lot as usual, although it feels like she's moved lower down in the last few hours. I'm just scared of going into labour too soon, so it's probably all me overreacting.. I dunno if I should contact my doctor, or whether that would be pointless. Does it sound normal at all?

How far along are you? It's probably nothing to worry about but it might be an idea to see your doctor if it's bothering you, just to put your mind at rest.

Ok go and see your doc asap. Don't be fobbed off.

Am thinking of you hun - fingers crossed it's just a blip. My friend bled a lot in her pregnancy and she has a healthy 2 year old girl now so please try not to assume the worst.

((((hugs)))))
