Q: Genital Irritation

Recently my girlfriend and I went swimming in a friends pool and the chemical levels seemed to be really high. My testicles and thighs were burning, and her vagina was burning also. (very painful) I was wondering has this happend to anyone else and if there is anything to be concerned about. What would you put on this kind of irritation. Is this some kind of chemical burn from a high level of clorine or other pool chemical?

Thanks

Your genital skin is amongst the most sensitive on your body, so it would, I'm assuming, be the first part of your body to feel the burn so to speak.

Try treating the exterior areas with a cold cream just to keep it protected. If the burning sensation lasts for longer than a day, or if you feel burning on the inside of your body, go to a doctor!
