Q: Spotting - Frustrated!

On average, when u miss pills and restart your pack cycle... How long do you spot?? I am going on 2 1/2 weeks now.. I have 8 more pills until the placebo pills.. How long should this spotting last? Will it probably last until my cycle is over or is there a big possibility that it could stop before? Help! Thanks.

Hi there, unfortunately because of what happened you will spot for some time.. It is normal.

Most women who spot like you do have it all resolved during the next placebo week, which is in 8 pills for you..

What will happen is that you need to keep bleeding through the placebo week, and then start your new pack of pills then...

You should stop bleeding then..Unfortunately , this is what happens, especially with tri-phasic pills...
