When you changed from brand to generic do you have to use a back up method for 7 days or are you safe from day 1

Personally, I would use a backup method for at least 7 days. Even though generics are supposed to work the same, they can have different effects on women.

It depend on how long you have been on the birth control.. But yes use backup method though. The bcps are in your system, and it not gonna clean out after three month...(after you stopped).
