Well i'm not too sure, but it sounds like it could be labour. Or braxton hicks contracions. If your worried, you should definitely call your doctor!! Best of luck hunny!! <3

Yes, this could be labor. Not braxton hicks. Sounds like your baby may be sunny side up. Welcome to back labor, my dear.

Advice, get a crockpot, fill it with hot water, turn it on high and put some wash clothes in it. Put it near where you will be laboring for a long time (i brought mine to the hospital!). Your birth coach can take a washcloth out and put it on your back where the pain is (if high is too hot, turn the crockpot to low!) while he rubs it.

Right, it does not take the pain away - only an epidural or birth is going to do that. But this can provide some relief.

Good luck!!

And, believe it or not, you should keep walking!! Gravitiy is the best thing for labor right now! Get that baby moving down into your pelvis to put pressure on your cervix. More pressure on your cervix means faster dilating.

A birth ball (or an exercise ball) is also an excellent way to help the baby descend into the birth canal! Sit on the ball and rotate your hips slowly, as if you were doing the hula hoop.

Good luck! Good luck!

Don't tire yourself out too much. Labor can be long and very exhausting in itself and your body will work against you if you aren't rested up.

Good luck!

it will happen soon. Don't stop doing the things you are doing! That birth ball, doing the hula circles with your hips, is most excellent for bringing that baby down. And down is where you want it!!

When you go into labor, the more of your labor you can spend in a sitting/walking/upright position the better.

Good luck!

Girl you might wana lay off of the spicey foods!!! When labor does, you'll regret it horribly!! Hahahaha....Seriously!! I tried to eat some popeyes(spicy shrimp) while I was labouring at home, and when I started pushing at the hospital, I had baaad heartburn/reflux from the popeyes! I thought I was gonna start puking, so I was minchin on .Rolaids during contractions!!

Good luck girl! This is soooo exciting. I remember when I posted on the forum that I thought I was in labor and sure enough about 5 hours later, I had her!!

Sarah
