Hi im very worried, I used to take
steroids with my freind and we used to
inject each other we were always very
careful and never reused a needle however
once I was putting the needle back in it
case when the case split and the needle
cut me, my freind had unprotected sex for
a couple of minutes in ibiza with a girl
he didnt know from england the summer
before. Now im very scared that he may
have caught a disease off her and that I
have caught one off him, I had a
temperature the nite of the accident,
could this be from anxiety as I wa
spanicking that had gone by a day or so
after, about 3 months later I had diarrhea
and had a mucousy cough 6 months after the
incident which made my glands go up also I
had a white patch that was foul smelling
behind each of my tonsils after I scraped
them off they did not come backafter my
cough, my freind who I may have caught the
disdease off seems to be healthy and has
put on a stone or so in the yr since
before using steroids
my questions are
is it possible for the disease to give u
ars sypmtoms under a day after contracting
it?
Does a mucousy cough have any connection
to hiv
is it usual for sum1 to be heavier after
cathching hiv then before?
Could the diarrhea be down to me coming
offf the steroids and the vitamins I was
on
what were the small white patches behind
each tonsil could these be tonsil stones
caused by my mucousy cough, I feared
thrush but wouldnt that come back if
scraped away ? And wouldnt u need
treatment for that? Plz plz help me

It is unlikely you friend caught anything
from the english girl. Your odds are good
if that was his only sexual contact. But
if he did have something, it would be
likely you would have become infected from
the needle accident. Sharing or re-using
needles is more dangerous than unprotected
anal intercourse!!!!!
You need to keep an eye on your health and
minimze your sexual contacts until you
find out what happened from you next
checkup.
