Impetigo
In answer to the question of is it common to get impetigo several times a year. I believe that it is if you do not treat it properly ot get reinfected. I am currently recovering from my second bout with this skin disorder and I thought I had something else..An insect bite reaction the doctor said. However, when I went to a specialist he said I had impetigo and it was almost the same as the first one I had a month previous. Impetigo is a bacteria and is spread primarily from being exposed to the bacteria via an exposed skin or cut. It can be prevented from being contagious by not touching it while infected and from washing and keeping clean while treating it, as far as I know. Ron
