A daily intake of energy should satisfy your basic metabolic needs (eating, food digestion, normalizing body temperature, etc.). Usual everyday physical activities require a baseline of energy requirement (going to school, washing face, brushing teeth, dressing, cleaning shoes etc.) and a little extra energy is required for extra physical activities (sports, labor, professional activities, etc). According to your data regarding age, height, weight and sex your basic metabolic amount per day (BMA) is around 1400kcal. About 1000kcal are usually needed as energy for usual daily activities. Another 1000kcal you will be needed for the running as extra activity. Therefore, you will need about 3400kcal per day.
