Q: Need An Answer / Opinion

My wife went to a party and got drunk (way too many ) she then went into a bedroom to lie down , all she can remember is that some guy asked her if she was ok and gave her some water.
The next day when she woke fully clothed (skirt & knickers) she felt as if something was wrong but couldn’t place what it was.
Two weeks later we are having sex (the first time after the incident) I find a small piece of what looks like condom rubber on my penis.

My question is, could she have been date raped? I don’t know (i’m not a woman ) but wouldn’t she at least known she had sex the night before ? And how long can a piece of condom rubber stay in the vagina without being noticed by the woman ??

While I am trying to be as understanding as possible I feel I am being told a story here and if it weren’t for the condom rubber I would never have know that something happened.

Any thoughts would be appreciated…

If she was date raped it is waaay possible she has no recollection of it. That stuff puts you out for real! The condom thing,i'm not too sure about though,she should go strait to the doctor cause that can cause an infection and she could quite possibly be pregnant seeing as how it was onyl a piece o fhte condom (it may have broked insode of her) good luck!

My question though is : if she didn't remember the sex then fine,but wouldnt she know she had had sex??

Not necessarily. If she was drunk enough or someone slipped something in her drink, she might not have any recollection of it. She needs to go to the gyno, explain her situation, and get fully checked out. I'd be worried about an std if some stranger might have raped me.

I wonder how a small piece of condom rubber would still be inside of her 2 weeks later... That is something i'd question.

How did just a small bit get there? Did the condom explode into pieces? Usually when they break, they just tear and don't break into bits.

All that said, there are many times women are 'date raped' that they don't remember. People slip things into drinks all the time.

The rubber was about half inch square. Do you really think it could have lasted two weeks with out her knowing ?

I am trying to understand this while not be judge mental .. Can a woman really not know she had sex last night ? Im not saying she should remember it just know/ feel that it had happened?

well you said she felt that something was wrong,that could be it.She may have been sore or something.There are always lie detector tests!

the rubber thing... A half a square inch? I don't think you could have anything inside you that wouldn't have fallen out (due to gravity alone!) in 2 weeks. See, the vagina is not a vast cavern, it is actually quite small. Where would this rubber bit have hidden? And how did it get torn from the condom itself?

If the condom did indeed tear, she could have had semen inside her that she would have been able to tell was semen the next day. She should for sure go to the doctor and get tested for stds. If I were you, I would get tested too.

Unless the sex was unusually rough (or you had semen inside of you), you might not know you had sex. Why? Do guys always know the next day if they've had sex?
