asked by: DoctorQuestion on September 1st, 2006
I am a 20 year old male and when I masturbate and I can feel myself about to ejaculate i
get a very sharp pain in my forehead. This pain then stays
with me for abouit 10-20 minutes afterwards. Its almost like it triggers a mini
migrane. Any idea to what could be causing this?

According to the symptoms you report (sharp pain in the penis’s forehead) you might be experiencing urethral inflammation (urethritis). Urethritis manifests with painful urination and urethral discharge. Urethritis is usually caused by an infection, but possible allergies or disturbances caused by irritation (physical or chemical) or even an injury should also be considered possible causes for the symptoms. A physical examination and microbiological urethral smear have to be done to establish the proper diagnosis. You may visit your GP (general practitioner) and may be referred to an urologist later.
