Early Pregnancy Signs and Symptoms Forum

First of all....Hello everyone! My name is kristal and I am new to the boards.

I have a question for you all. I usually get my period around the 20th, 21st of each month. Last month I got it on the 20th. This month I have not gotten it yet, but i've been cramping each morning for the past week or so and then sometimes in the afternoon the cramping will start again. Every once in a while i'll get a discharge, that I think is blood, so I run to the bathroom only to find out it's just a clear, very faint yellow discharge. It happened this morning and it happened a few days ago in the afternoon. On monday I was sitting at my desk and all of a sudden became really sick to my stomach, but then after about 10 minutes I was fine. I've been really bloated lately as well. My fiance and I started thinking about things and there were two nights where an oops happened. I took a home pregnancy test, ept early response, and it came back negative. I just made an appt with my doctor to find out what is going on with my body if I am truely not pregnant, however my obgyn always takes forever to get in with, appt is set for september 13th. This morning i've felt sick to my stomach as well and haven't been feeling that great either. Would you guys trust the home pregnancy test and just figure something else is up with my body right now? It's really strange, because it's almost like my gut is telling me I am pregnant, and I keep having dreams that I am, and my fiance told me last night that he had a weird feeling about it, but didn't want to say anything to me a few nights ago.......Any advice?? Take another pregnancy test with your first morning urine. First morning urine has a higher concentration of hcg (the pregnancy hormone) because you've not urinated for 8 hours (usually).

Some women don't get positive pregnancy tests right away, but if you are nearly 2 weeks late on your period - something seems to be up.

You Never Know

Ok so with my son I used a 2 pack of ept tests first thing in the morning like a week before I usually get my period and they both came back neg. (i used them a day apart) so the next day I was at the doller store to grab some candle holders and behold, I saw a preg. Test, I was like ok the reg. Tests didnt work so why would this but I got it anyway because hey it was only a dollar, I took it the next morning and it came back pos. Right away!! Moral: try a diff. Test or wait like 3 days and try again...It could take a while to show up, everybody is diff...And f.Y.I. The only reason I tested so many times is cause I just had a feeling I knew even tho it was neg. That I was preg.

that's how I feel, even though it's negative I still have a feeling. I've heard a lot about these dollar store tests lately!! Ha! The only dollar store around here, is dollar tree, i'll check it out tomorrow. I had no idea that they sold pregnancy tests. I wish I would have, before I spent 20 bucks on 2 ept's!! :d my fiance has a feeling that I am too, and now we've almost got ourselves believing that I am, and we are getting excited, so I hope I am! I will keep you posted. I think i'll wait til' about monday to take another! :wink:

Im going through the same thing!
Iv been having all the symptoms of being pregnant for almost a month now.
But all the preg tests I have taken have all come out nagative.
One of them looked positive, but it couldve been an evap line,
since I looked at it after the expiry time.
Iv been getting nausous, bloating,urinating more then often, constipation, sensitive breasts,more discharge,feeling more tired,headaches,back/hip pains,cramping and my period before was irregular!
And I just have this gut feeling im pregant, and iv been having dreams that I am too.
So if im not pregnant then something must be wrong..
But im going to try and get a blood test very soon.
I hope everything turns out for you, and hopefully ill find out soon as well.

Omg im in the same boat too, I have sore boobs and nipples, I get irritated very easy,high sensativity to smells especially bananas and coffee blah! Been tired and sluggish and for a couple days have had nausea and morning sickness once but no missed period yet. Im dying to know..What do u guys think?
