So I am thinking of

jana melina sophia flores-schanil

jana is pronounced yana

i like the name melina but it dosent sound right going melina jana.. But I would call her melina. Mimi, lala, lina.. So many good nicknames.

Im not sure about the last name either.. I dont want to give her his last name so I am giving her his moms last name but I was thinking of just picking a mexican last name that I like and giving it to her instead.

Good lord that's a long name! 12 syllables!

But honestly I love .Sophia. It's very feminine. And .Jana is very original!

Any particular reason why you're giving her so many names?

Sophia is one of the 3 names I might go with, I would call her .Thea for short. How come you don't want to give her your last name?

Well I am claudia georgia jana schanil and jana is a family name my father is from czech republic and the name goes back a few generations. My granmother, great grandmother, and aunt all were jana. I know my father and my aunt would be so happy to have the baby be jana. I love the name melina, I want her to have a hispanic name to go by.. And melina just really sticks with me even if its not hispanic it sounds it. Sophia is what the babys fathers family likes and I like it alot too... Flores is the babys-fathers-mothers last name.. And I would like her to have a hispanic last name because shes going to be my little latina melina! Im so worried about her growing up having no idea about her mexican and el salvadorian heritage. But he dosent really deserve to have his last name... His last name is velasco-flores. I was also just thinking of picking a random mexican last name that I liked! I want to start taking spanish classes as soon as I can so I can teach the baby spanish and english and that both her and I can comunicate with her fathers side of the family better. I dont have any contact with the father but I do with his mom and she said that the family is willing to help me and the baby out even though her son is an ass.

I like the name, but I don't know if you can just give her a random last name. The name needs to come from somewhere.

My son has a long name too michael trey dominic major. And we call him trey.
