Biotin Supplement
Posted: 08-29-06 16:11pm

I wanted something that would promote healthy hair, skin, and nails, so I went looking for a pure beta-carotine supplement, but I couldn't find one, so I found biotin and bought it instead.

Upon researching it on the net it seems that it isn't a good thing to take if I don't have a biotin deficiency. I'm not sure of this though, i've read different things.

My question is, is it worth taking? I get blackheads that i'm trying to get rid of. Is there another vitamin I should buy instead?

Walmart carries a good hair skin and nails, you might want to talk to talk to the pharmacist there and they are pretty reasonable.
Good luck!

You could benefit from a silica supplement, plus you could also take a good quality omega.

After Oxygen, Silica, also known as Silicon, is the most abundant element on the planet. Our body needs it for the formation of collagen for bones and connective tissue; for healthy nails, skin, and hair.

Ive found prenatal vitamins work the best and you can buy them at your local pharmacy.
