Aly's doctor visit went so well! Of course, our appointment was for 9:20 and somehow we didn't get out of the doctor's office until 11:30, but other than that!

She screamed when the nurse took her to get weighed! We could hear her screaming all the way down the hall. The other nurses kept popping their heads into our room to tell us what a pair of lungs our baby has. She's now 7 pounds 7 ounces, so she's gained 10 ounces so far! The pediatrician says that's really good for a baby who is exclusively breastfed. And apparently she's 19 1/2 inches, so they must have measured her wrong at the hospital. They told us she was 20 inches at birth.

They didn't give her a vaccination today, because they're doing them at her 2 month checkup. But they did do another heel stick test on her, and it took us 10 minutes to calm her down after that. Her daddy was sooo good with her too. I'm really impressed with how well he's taken to becoming a father, since he seemed pretty disconnected throughout the pregnancy like none of it was real to him.

She really wore herself out today! I nursed her when we got home and she's been out like a light ever since! Usually I have to cuddle her for a long time before she's comfy enough to pass out! I'll probably try to catch a quick nap while I can... :)
