I went to dentist on friday and had two teeth pulled on upper right side and by sunday I had a med size blister on the right side of my tongue and a very sore throat. I have been taking 500mg penacillin twice a day since friday, I went to my doctor and he gave me a shot of penacillin. I have also been putting peroxid on my tongue. This is thursday and I still can't swallow and the blister is still there.
Can anyone help or advise or have been in this situation

Ulcers are not uncommon after dental work such as extractions.

I would keep in contact with your doctor as ulcers in the throat can be very painful. The antibiotics should help to settle the condition down in time.

Rinising your month with warm salt water may help the healing process, I would have thought antibiotics three times a day would be a more approipriate dosage.

Plenty of fluids may also help to ease the throat discomfort.
