Hey everyone. New member here and I need your help. I was diagnosed with mild pleural effusion back in july...And the pain was horrible as we all know. I also had walking pneumonia and was taking levaquin for a week. I have also been on ibuprofen since july. The pain has got better but sometimes I cant even sleep because it comes back again, so I have to keep taking the ibuprofen. The doc said it could be done in 4-6 weeks, but im going on two months now. Took two ct scans, second one showed that the pleural effusion was gone but the infection was still there. What does that mean? Also, lately, I have been having gurgly or bubbly breathing everytime I inhale. Does anyone know what that is? I just want some peace of mind that I will get better, but I want to know when! Please someone help me out.
