So I am 35 weeks 1 day pregnant with my second child, a boy... I don't really remember about the weeks leading up to the deliever with my daughter almost 4 years ago, so I need some help....

I have started to have loose bm since friday (this is the 4th day of it)
and I have been drinking more and more water to not get dehydrated, but I know I am .... But other than the loose bm, I felt fine, friday and saturday, then sunday I stated to have really painful braxton hicks contractions, and now today I am having the loos bm, the painful contractions, and started to cramp up..... I called my Dr. And they can get me in tomorrow.. But I was just wondering what anyones opinion is on this.? Could it be the begining of labor... My body getting ready for it? Any help would be nice.. Thanks...

I was wondering the same thing.. I have been having loose bm for about a week now and I am about 34 weeks or 35 weeks.. I also have been having contractions and cramping.. I have notified my doctor about this issue and he hasn't been worried about it! So I have been doing research on my own!

I have just started a prepared labor class and in the book they gave me it says that flu like symptoms could be the start of labor.. The describe flu like symptoms as loose bm, nausea, and headache.. They say this is your bodys way of preparing for baby by cleaning your body out.. It also says that these symptoms can begin 2 weeks before you go into full labor..

So I guess this could be the very beginning of labor for the both of us....

I hope this helps
