I've noticed recently that i've been shedding my hair a bit more than usual. I notice it in my brush and when I wash my hair or it gets wet. The only change in my lifestyle that I can say is that earlier in the spring and summer I lost about 20 pounds. I'm taking multivitamins now (with vitamin b and a little bit of biotin), and trying to eat more protein. I also recently got over bulimia. I've been a vegetarian for a few years too. I'm really scared that within a few months I might be bald or have bald spots. Can anyone help me? When is this increase in shedding going to go away?

(by the way, there isn't a history of hair loss in my family, and i'm 15)

(also, i'm not on birth control or anything either)
(i also tend to be a bit anxious and this is stressing me out too. Do you think that could be the cause?)
(and how long will it take to notice myself "shedding" less hair?)

Cheap Treatment For Hair Loss
You may want to consider hair loss treatment? I heard it's pretty cheap in asia, singapore. Only 1 hospital has it there which is changi general hospital as they specialize in it, and very reputable. Maybe you can consider that?

Dont Be Scared
Hi,

i wanted to say I know how hard it is to go through this. You are not the only one. I have been through the same period. I started losing hair when I was 17, and now I am 22. Mental depression, dissatisfaction with everything. You name it...

Just wanted to tell you how I have been able to stop my hair loss and start some growth. I have started using provillus it has changed my life. It is an herbal product and in one month stopped the hair loss and a little after 2 months I started to see the hair growth.

The effects of stress can be a cause of hair loss and thinning. In addition, various autoimmune and other systemic diseases can lead to hair loss. Strict dieting also is one of the reasons; the loss is due to malnutrition. Several different nutrient deficiencies can contribute to hair loss, brittleness, or thinning. When it comes to hair loss, the most common in women is iron deficiency.

Saw palmetto extract contains phytochemicals, which may inhibit a hormone that is responsible for hair loss and may therefore be useful in the treatment of hair loss. Zinc is an essential mineral that is needed to maintain healthy follicles. Copper is needed with long-term use of zinc. Flaxseed is included int he the treatment of hair loss as it contains essential fatty acids that can nourish the hair. Each nutrient in the vitamin b complex 100 performs an essential role in maintaining proper metabolic function, whichis often disturbed by stress and poor diet, it is therefore crucial in the treatment of the treatment of hair loss. A complete multivitamin replenishes the body with essential nutrients and gives the body a good basic level of support. Chamomile is a calming herb that may be useful in treatment of hair loss as it helps slow stress-related hair loss.

Veteran At Hair Loss
I've been losing my hair since I was 36 and now i'm 48. The only thing I can do because mine is genetic, was dye my hair blonde. It doesn't show the scalp as much. I grew my hair long so I can lightly tease my hair and kinda wear my hair to one side, covering alot of top hair loss and creates an illusion. I hate my hair loss,,it makes me so sad seeing this happening. Now my 22 year old son is losing his hair. I'm sickened at seeing this on such a handsome young man.
