It's been a while.

Here's a brief summary... My twins were born august 9th at 5:53 a.M. They were only 30 weeks--i had preeclampsia, so that's why. I turned 17 on august 25th. Both are doing good, are in incubators, but got put back on c-pap (maybe will be off in a few days again, we'll see).

Evelyn rose:

mei lin:

(pictures were taken before they were in incubators and me being a dummy forgot the camera when I went to visit today--the hospital is 1.5 hrs. Away from me, so if I forget it's a bit too late. Hopefully photobucket worked okay.)

i also have a question. How long does it take for a stretched stomach to deswell and destretch? As for the rest of my body, i'm actually pretty much back to normal (because I didn't have that last 2 months and my leg and feet and hand swelling is all gone from the preeclampsia). I know I can't exercise to firm up a bit again until after my 6 week checkup, but I still would like a bit of the "squishiness" to go away.

Oh, and I had a c-section, by the way. It was crazy having all those drugs, you're really out of it! I don't think I want to do it again. :?

Your babies are lovely. What are there names?

It can take a few months for your belly to get back to normal esp after a c-section. As long as its not painful you are free to start doing light exercise after 6 weeks

My 6 weeks isn't until september 21st (that's my checkup), so I guess I have to wait on the exercise.

Evelyn rose and mei lin are their names. I think I labeled the pictures.

Oh yeah lol. I'm blind haha. You don't need to worry about getting back into shape yet. I didn't bother it just sort of all fell off gradually.

Just concenrate on your beautiful babies and you won't even notice the weight coming off

Thanks. :d

i hope it all goes away that easily, lol. But I don't seem to have a bunch of extra, just the stretched/swollen part. Not really extra fat. I think i'll be okay. :)
