Can you get pregnant after having both tubes removed?

With both fallopian tubes removed, you only can become pregnant by utilizing in vitro fertilization technology. Since your ovary still has eggs, the eggs can be removed and fertilized in a "test tube" or dish, incubated and allowed to divide. The embryo or embryos are then transferred to your womb with a small catheter inserted through the mouth of the womb, vaginally.

It is very unlikely but not impossible.
There is a very minute chance (probably near a one in a million type chance)

If both tubes are removed, you will no longer be able to get pregnant naturally.

That is not true.

It is very unlikely but it is not impossible.
I work with a lady who got pregnant naturally 5 years after having both tube removed.
She had 3 failed ivf attempts over 3 years then gave up.
2 years after her last failed attempt she fell pregnant completely naturally.

It isn't impossible but it is improbable.
