After giving birth to my son (2 years ago) I had a partial colectomy followed by an intestinal blockage 9 months later due to adhesions. The adhesions were cleared up after the second surgery yet I still worry about another blockage...Very very painful and scary experience. I worry about such matters as not having regular bowel movements, flying and bloating in the aircraft and the most important quetsion of all, how would a pregnancy affect the workings of my intestine? Anyone with similar experiences?
