This is the first time I have posted and am a new member.
I had a total hysterectomy 4 years ago and have had to have numerous
repairs since due to being type I diabetic and slow healing. I have been experiencing pain in my abdomen and back after intercourse. This does not happen all the time or even in one specific position. I also experience swelling in my abdomen and an urgent sense of needing to make a bowel movement, which also causes great amounts of pain. I have seen both my family physician and my obgyn for this with no avail. This usually lasts for 2-7 days and heat seems to help a little. Any advice in this would be greatly appreciated. I am to the point now of going to the mayo clinic for further help as I am not willing to give up intercourse.
