Had small bowel series done 5 days ago. When I drank the barium solution they took me back for the xray and were amazed that it had already empyted out of my small bowel. It had not even been a full 10 minutes. The radiologist said I had extreme hypermotility of my small bowels. I've had ibs symptoms for years (diarrhea, diarrhea immediately after eating, bloating, cramping, etc) but have recently had alot of constipation also. I've had every other gi test there is since july due to upper right quadrant pain (up under my ribs also) and all have been negative. I've drank tons of water and gatorade/ poweraide since to flush it out of my system but i'm still very constipated and when I do go its very, very small and still white! I felt so run down today too. I don't understand what to do. I left a mesage w/ my drs office but still waiting to here back. Any ideas?
