Hi. I am at my wit's end with this
b......T condition. I have osteo in the
verterbrates of the neck and am in pain
constantly. The pain jumps over my head
into the temples and on a daily basis I
have been suffering migraines. I don't
think they are real migraines but they do
respond to imigran and therefore they must
be but I know that their cause is the neck
issue. I have had a cortisone block, 7
years of acupuncture, 6 years of physio (
and i'm talking at least once if not twice
a week), a median branch block and weekly
injections of local anaesthetic and
cortisone directly into the affected
areas. I am sick and tired of medication.
There is no day that I am not taking
painkillers and I am so over it. The
imigran should only be taken occasionally
and I am on at least one sometimes two a
day.. Just wondering if anyone has any
ideas on alt treatments that have worked
for them or even a surgery. I am in my
early 50's and look at people a lot older
than me who seem so much more active and
enjoying their lives. The painkillers are
my biggest concern as they only give very
temp relief, if any, and impact on my
energy levels so badly.
