Q: Short, Sharp Pains..feels Like My Brain Is Trying Rip Out

For quite sometime now i've been experiencing short, sharp pains. I wouldn't describe it as if someone hit me with an ice pick or what the other topics describe, but more along the lines of my brain trying to rip out of my skull. Sounds crazy but it hurts so bad that I immediately stop what I am doing. It's usually on my right side above my ear. Any one else has experienced this or any ideas?
