Q: I Need a Little Advice...

Hi there,

i have had a funny stringy brown discharge for the past 6 days and now it's turned into a very light period, which is only there when I wipe.
My periods are generally 32 day cycles and hubby and I did 'the deed' a couple of times right over my ovulation days.
The brown discharge came 5 days earlier than my period was due and I had cramping which I don't usually get and the light period started around 2 days after my period was due. I also have very sore breasts and nipples, am quite tired (afternoon naps!), moody and going to the toilet more often.
I have been hoping for a baby but am too scared to get a pregnancy test as I don't want to be disappointed, but my boobs have never been so sore!
It's about 5 1/2 weeks since my last 'proper' period
is it possible to have a light period and still be pregnant?
Thanks everyone

Yes it is possible to have light bleeding and be pregnant, it could have been implantation bleeding what you had 5 days before your period was supposed to start. Your best bet is to take hpt even if it is negative at least you will know what you are dealing with.
