Hey all, just a couple quick questions....By the way I am not a teen.
Me and my bf had sex 8 days after my peiod started. He did use a condom but when he pulled out there was sperm everywhere,on the bed,on me,his hands, etc. What are the chances I could be pregnant in a situation like this? Also the next day after having had sex I had a heavy white discharge? What does this mean? What is the earliest I can take a test? This is killing me,because I really don't want a kid, neither does he.

It sounds like the condom broke or had a hole in it cause there is no way it came out the top of that condom! Yes you could be pregnant, there is a great chance. The earliest you can take a test is 4 days before your period but its best to wait until you miss it.Good luck and get on some birth control!

Only first response can be used 4 days before your period is due.
All other tests require you to wait until your period is due or late.

I would say the heavy white discharge would be the semen mixed with your own discharge as semen can stay inside of you for up to 6-7days!

If the semen can stay inside of you for 6-7 days is it still alive? How long does it stay alive? If I ovulated within a couple of days of this incident my chances of being pregnant would be greater?I was always told that you ovulated on the 14th day of a 28 day cycle,so I thought we were safe.Is this true?Or is can it be a different day? Also was wonderinf if sperm travels on its own from the outside in?
Please nobody slam me for all my questions,i am realizing that alot of what we thought was truth may not be.Thanks you all for your replies!

Not all women are the same 14 days is just an ave. Some only ovulate once every 3 mths and others 2-3 times a mth. Yes it stays in the bosy and is alive for up to 7-10 days. Anytime you have sex no matter what kind of protection you use you have a chance of being preg. Please get yourself on some form of bc and use condoms to protect not only from getting preg. But also from std's.

There is no way sperm can stay alive for 10 days! Thats insane. The longest ever was 7 days but thats only if your body holds the proper conditions.

Answer
sperm exposed to room air on clothing, bed linens or toilet seats lose motility (the ability to swim) rapidly. Once the semen dries out, the sperm are usually dead.

That said, you should take basic caution after sex that you've cleaned up any big splashes on her or around her.

Answer
if the semen is near the woman and no fertile fluid is present, they will die within a few hours in or out of the body. If there is fertile fluid from her, they can live for a week waiting for the egg to be released (which probably won't wait a week to be released with fertile fluid present).

Ok,lets just say we knew we were running a risk of me getting pregnant but didn't think that the chances were so great.I guess if I am pregnant we will deal with that when the time comes, however if I am we probably will not keep this baby.
