Q: Pregnancy Symptoms?

Hi,

i used an opk and had a lh surge on 8/18. Yesterday, 8/22, I broke out with terrible acne. Does this have anything to do with pregnancy symptoms?

Thanks.

When is your period due? Are you regular? And do you usually break out with acne every month or is this a once off?

When women become pregnant their hormones do weird and wonderful things - women with beautiful skin pre-pregnancy can get really bad acne when pregnant and vice versa, so it just depends.

Take a test if your worried - good luck!

My monthly cycle is not regular, I haven't had a period for 8 months. My doc has me on provera and clomid as I am ttc. Last 4 months I have been taking provera and I just finished my second month of clomid. I just want to keep an eye out for anything that can give me hint that I might be pregnant.

I think this break out may have more to do with ovulation. Ovulation usually occurs 12-36 hours after your lh surge, so that means that you probably ovulated between the 19th and 21. So I think the 22 would be too soon for implantation to occur.
