Sean is 9 month old and he keep putting too much in his mouth and has been gagging a lot. Even when I try to get something out of his mouth like hair or something. I am starting to worry. Yesterday I gave him a zwachback and he broke it in half and shoved the whole half in his mouth so I had to fish it out. I didnt think he would do that. Then he got some juice and came in the kitchen and started gagging and puking.

Also I tried to start himm on like meats and stuff, I tried a while ago but he didnt like it. I gave him a couple bites and he still puked. I need some advice, sincce I am gone all day I cant always be running for him, and what if larry doesnt catch it. Can someone help me please...

Love you girlies!!

I ont have too much experience and the other moms may know some techniques, but maybe u should take him to a doctor and ask a doctors opinion. Maybe hes allergic to something or... Just natural reaction to those kinds of foods?? Sorrry I dont know too much on this! Confused

Stacie hi! I am danielle, mother of 3 children, one is almost 7 years, then 3 1/2 years and my youngest almost 11 months! To help prevent the gagging, give him foods cut in bite size pieces, they should be about ½ by ½ inches, so he won’t choke. Make sure that he is drinking while eating, because sometimes they don’t get enough saliva and its hard to swallow, causing the gagging. Hope this helps.

Well it could be that either he really dislikes the baby food or he could be allergic to it! Try something else, like use a blender to chop up his meat and see if that works and if he still gags he may be too young still for meats, but if it works, it could be what they are putting in the bottled stuff! Hope this works!
