My boyfriend is in the icu of our local hospital. He had 2 tumors removed. He is starving, he has not eaten in 6 days. He wants food! They said he has to have a bowel movement first. With no food...How is he to have a bowel movement? What foods are the best to give him to try and force a bowel movement? Please help us!! :cry: :cry:

Hi,

sorry to hear about your boyfriend. I'm not a doctor, but i've heard warm water or hot coffee will work. It stimulates the colon and helps push the stool through the colon faster. You may want to ask the nurses if this is a good idea. They may know of something that would help too.

Keep me posted on his situation.

Hi. I am so sorry to hear about your b/f!! If he is unable to eat, he may want to try coffee or esp. Apple juice. These may stimilate him to have a bm. Good luck!

Kathy;
Not good news. Your boyfriend's body is starving because it is lacking nutrition. This is the body's way to communicate with you. The body needs to elliminate naturaly. There is a great all in one body cleanse called Experience that will do the job effectively.
