It seems that you are suffering from sterility because you have been trying to conceive without success for more than a year. It is not clear whether or not you are ovulating, so you can visit a gynecologist to confirm this. A vaginal examination, hormonal analyses, a vaginal ultrasound, and a Pap-test are the necessary diagnostic tools for evaluating the condition.
Regarding pregnancy tests: a pregnancy test detects the hormone "human chorion-gonadotropin" (hCG) that is produced by an embryo’s outer layer, the chorion. Production of hCG begins after the implantation of the embryo on the walls of the uterus. Implantation occurs 8-10 days after conception (around ovulation) or 5 days before the next period is due. Conception can occur 12 hours (at most ) after ovulation. If implantation is successful, the next menstruation is halthed (missed period) and that is the first sign for a woman that she might be pregnant. During those 8-10 days between conception and implantation, a test may be negative although conception has occured. Likewise, a test can be positive during the 5 days before the next period is due without symptoms or signs of pregnancy (no missed period).
Such thing like “implantation bleeding” doesn’t exist!!!
You are not in a menopause. Menopause is defined as lack of menstruation for more than a year.
