Q: Pregnant Or Just Hormonal??

Well okay a month ago I had a miscarriage at 2 weeks pregnant, 2 weeks ago and also last friday I had unprotected sex now i've noticed my nipples are wide and whereas ive always been a heavy smoker, ive grown an extreme distaste for cigarettes and ive stopped craving all together . Some people have said it could just be hormones lingering from my last short lived pregnancy but it seems like if that were the case I would have had some other symptoms between now and last month. Im not saying I feel pregnant because its only been a couple weeks, but I was just needing some more opinions before I test.

Sorry for your loss!

When you say 2 weeks pregnant you actually means 1 month , right? Meaning you miscarried right when your period was due?

If that is the case I doubt you will have any hcg left over because at that stage there isnt a great deal running through your system.

You could be freshly pregnant once again since most women are instantly fertile after miscarrying.

2 weeks pregnant? At 2 weeks pregnant, you'd have just missed your period. Is that when you miscarried? Did you go to the doctor to get the miscarriage confirmed?

I'm asking because it can be completely normal for some women to bleed in early pregnancy. Unless it was a confirmed miscarriage, you may still be pregnant.

That said, any time there is unprotected sex there is a possibility of pregnancy. Hormones can linger or you could be pregnant. You should make an appointment with your doctor to be sure.

Good luck!!!

that would put you at about 5 weeks pregnant not 2 weeks.

2 weeks pregnant is actually when your about to ovulate and arent actually pregnant yet. So, by the time you 1st missed period comes along your already 4 weeks along.

Heavy bleeding sound slike a miscarriage but you should have visited a dr or gone to a hospital...Was the pregnancy confrimed ?

it is always advised to go see a doctor whenever there is a miscarriage. If blood is pouring out of you, you need to take iron pills and be monitored so you don't lose too much blood. Sometimes a d & c is necessary to remove any tissue left inside (this is usually endometrial tissue).

You should go see your doctor and get checked now. Even if you aren't pregnant, you need to make sure you are starting out healthy.

You're right I really need to. Im new to all this. The thing that has been holding me back is that I just turned 18 in feb. And im still on my mom's insurance,my mom has mental problems (she's paranoid schizophrenic) and whenever things happen in my life she cant handle it without stressing me out so bad once she gave me a panic attack sooo for obvious reasons im scared of telling her because if I am pregnant I dont want to be really stressed...But I suppose it's inevitable and it would be stupid for me to be selfish in a situation like this so thanks for your advice

for your own health and well being, you would need to be seen by a doctor. You can 'lie' to her about going to the doctor. Say it's for something else or whatever. But, by 18, you should be able to get to the doctor on your own - and you can use her insurance card without her being there (as long as you are on the policy). Maybe tell her it is your yearly pap appt? At least until you know what is going on...

There is always planned parenthood. They can give pregnancy tests and they also do birth control - for free.

If you are a college student, there might be a clinic at your college that also does free/low cost birth control and pregnancy testing.

Good luck!

I don't see that as being selfish.Being stressed while pregnant is not good at all. Can't you go to the health department or something. If you don't have a job you can get it for free.If you do have a job,you can get care for cheap! You wont have to tell your mom for a while but she will have to know sometime
