I was on depo provera for about a year and
a half. (couldn't take the pill because
it gave me horrible daily migraines) I
stopped taking it and got my last shot in
september of 2005. I still haven't gotten
a period. I'm not sexually active so i'm
obviously not pregnant. I was wondering
how long it took others to start getting
their period again and if this is a
problem????

When I was on it I was told it would take
any where from a year to a year n a half
to get one and to get regular. Did you
have any periods during the time you was
on the shot?

I only took the shot once and got my
period a month after I got off.Its not
normal,but it wasn't really normal b4 the
shot so......

My mom was on the depo shot and never had
her period again while on it. I was the
same way. It just depends on your body
