I have the same breathing problems many ppl experience on this site but I have done alot to lessen them but now I am getting something else on and off. I know I have anxiety and depression. Its hard to describe but u kinda feel a sudden flutter in ur heart. Its like a single pound or somethign its hard to describe but very unsettling. I get these sometimes when not doing much or when do strenusous or rapid activity. I dont get them alot but certainly enough to bother me.

I think we can help each other out so much on this forum with just explaining how we deal and our experiences.

Help me, just let me know if u feel the same thing or not.

And yes ive been to a cardiologist, he says everything is fine.

Are you on any kind of meds? This happened to me on bc pills. Also, I think that adrenaline will kick in when you have anxious thoughts (kind of the fight or flight syndrome) and before your body has a chance to tell your adrenal glands that everything is ok, your heart starts to beat faster in anticipation of running away! Try a calming or soothing essential oil to reduce the stress response.

Nope I dont take any meds. It doesnt happen all the time, its wierd, only sometimes, I guesss when im more stressed. I have anxiety alot of it is about my health and fear of dying. My friend died last year of somethign heart related so im scared that something is wrong with my heart too. I went to my regular doc., got a check up and blood tests, everything was fine. He sai di could go to a cardiologists just to calm myself and I did. The cardiologist said everything was fine but I still get a little paranoid now and then. Im doing better but it still sucks.

That has happened to me before too. The fluttering, but I feel it at the bottom of my throat. I also loose my breath for about 1/2 second. It comes on so fast, it is hard to know what is happening.

I have anxiety issues really bad too and I am not on any meds.

I have had it too, I tend to get it for a few weeks then it doesn't happen for a while, its hard to explain but I will be just sat there when all of a sudden I get the fluttery feeling and feel like I need to catch my breath, its very scarey when it happens!
