Q: Benadry Addiction

About a year ago, needing something to help me sleep, I decided to use an over the counter sleep medicine. Noticing that the chemicals in most of the pills was nothing but diphenhydramine, and knowing that was the ingredient of benadryl, I took the more economical route and bought a bottle of the benadryl. I started taking them, maybe 5 a so or night when I first started, and increased the dose after not too long. I noticed strange auditory and visual hallucinations and an overall comfortable feeling that I enjoyed, along with an extreme lack of short term memory which oddly I found entertaining. Being an obsessive person, i've been taking anywhere from 15 to 30 benadryls every night for the last year or so. So far it hasn't negatively affected my life or wallet much at all, but after doing it for this long I assume there must be some kind of negative long term effects? If so, does anyone have an idea as to what they could be? I haven't been able to find anyone with the same addiction, so I thought i'd post it somewhere and hope for an answer. Thanks ;]

You will just build up a high tolerance and natural sleep will be almost imposible unless highly fatigued.
